We interrupt our regular posting about
The Ultimate SuperTip for this late breaking NEWS!
I admit it I'm a "Flintstone's" fan!

Not the "Flintstones" movies but the old cartoons by Hanna Barbera.
Do you remember them? Are they on TV anywhere anymore?
I vividly remember my brother and I coming home from school in the early 70's and looking forward to the 4:00 - 4:30 hour to see what trouble Fred and Barney could get into and how Wilma and Betty would react. They were always entertaining and in fact there were even some subtle lessons to be learned from Fred and Barney's blunders.
The "Flintstones" were just simple good natured cartoons. There was little or no destruction or violence, in them, which these days, seems to be the theme of most cartoons I see! And as I said before they were always entertaining, no matter what your age.
Today on MSN there was some really sad news about
"Flintstones" artist Ed Benedict. Although the artist passed away in his sleep, I'll always cherish the fond memories of the "Flintstone" characters that Ed helped to draw and create.
I wish they were still around on TV, so I could share those fond memories with my preteen nieces! Looks like the DVD's are available at Amazon.com
